Looking back on 12 months of rapid transformation

As 2024 draws to a close, we round up another productive year of delivering on our mission to unlock everyone’s potential to reduce human error, improve safety and enhance everyday performance and well-being.

Read on for details of our 2024 wrap – with plenty more milestones in the pipeline for 2025.

✨ Enhanced User Experience

YOUFactors enhanced user experience

This year, we worked on empowering users to take charge of their progress and find new ways to individualise their learning journeys. By introducing gamification elements, like our martial-arts-themed modules with interactive animations and Karate-style belts, we made safety habit-building both fun and engaging.

These design elements tap into how our brains learn best, ensuring insights are memorable and engagement stays high. Expect even more user-centered upgrades next year!

🌍 Global Reach

YOUFactors expanded its footprint in 2024, growing to over 50,000 users across 24 countries. To support this growth, we added Danish and Swedish to our language lineup, bringing the total to 11 supported languages. This ensures we can better serve our diverse international community.

Our commitment to inclusivity remains unwavering, grounded in human psychology and a respect for individuality.

📱 Wider Access, Improved Responsiveness

As part of our ongoing effort to always be where our customers actually are, we constantly think of ways that our digital offerings can be improved:

  • Website Redesign: In May, we launched a redesigned site, positioning YOUFactors as the ultimate digital safety companion.
  • Trial Access: To make getting started easier, we debuted free trials paired with a seamless onboarding process, allowing users to explore our platform risk-free.
  • Real-Time Notifications: With the launch of Story Feeds Notifications, users can now stay informed with real-time updates, keeping them engaged with important activities and posts.

🔒 Security and Excellence

As readers will know, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) represents the pinnacle of product and service performance.  ISO 27001 in particular is the  international standard for managing information security.

Last year, we achieved the widely coveted ISO 27001:2017 Certification. This December, we've secured a certification upgrade extending compliance to ISO standards from 2013 to 2022 reaffirming our commitment to the highest standards of data protection.

🛠️ Optimized Operations and User Management

To simplify administration, we rolled out bulk user management tools and improved course assignment processes with features like multi-select options and a revamped Assignment button. Additionally, we launched Licensing Insights, providing administrators with real-time transparency on active and expired licenses, ensuring smooth renewals.

📈 Data-Driven Insights and Mobile Flexibility

We integrated Rate Your State Conversations directly into the dashboard, enabling real-time insights into team performance. Supervisors can now engage with these conversations from their mobile devices, ensuring flexibility in managing and tracking progress.

The YOUFactors mobile app also received major updates, including Single Sign-On (SSO) and a new Supervisor role, enabling seamless access and engagement on the go.

Conclusion: A lot done, a lot more to do

As we prepare for 2025, our mission remains steadfast: to revolutionize safety through engaging, gamified learning and global expansion.

Looking ahead, we are not just focused on creating more immersive experiences and expanding our reach; we are also embracing the need for flexibility and accessibility. We'll be introducing micro-learning modules in Q1 for even more flexible, bite-sized lessons that integrate into busy schedules. By empowering individuals with tools that blend seamlessly into their everyday lives, we aim to transform safety habit-building into an effortless, lasting behavior.
